From Paramount Home Entertainment:

Relive the Hilarious Exploits of Wayne and Garth with a Limited-Series Blu-ray Steelbook on February 1st, 2022

Celebrate the world’s most endearing slackers when Wayne’s World arrives in a Limited-Edition Blu-ray SteelBook on Feb 1st. Just in time for the fim’s 30th anniversary.

The iconic Wayne’s World was released on Valentine’s Day in 1992. Not only was the film the first big screen appearance of Wayne and Garth, characters created by Myers and Carvey on “Saturday Night Live”, it also re-popularized Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

Directed by Penelope Spheeris (who knew the metal scene and could work quickly) and written by Myers, Bonnie Turner and Terry Tuner, Wayne’s World brought the metal world to the mainstream.

Wayne’s World also introduced the legend that is Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to a new audience. Head banging became a way of showing your ultimate enjoyment and love for any rock anthem.

Introduing Tia Carrere and performances from Rob Lowe, Ione Skye, Ed O’Neill and the late greats Chris Farley and Meat Loaf, Wayne’s World truly revolutionized pop culture. The story takes place in Aurora, IL where Wayne Campbell (Myers) and Garth Algar (Carvey) host a public-access television show, Wayne’s World. Their feel good vibes and passion for Rock have made them a local hit. When a production company wants to take the show mainstream, Wayne and Garth have to reeconcile with possibly selling out.

And there may be some love finding along the way! Add this amazing steelbook to your collection and bring it out when you’re ready for some excellent party time!

A dual collection featuring Wayne’s World and Wayne’s World 2 is in the works so keep an eye out.
